The hotel had a good and gorgeous position, in a quirky North Yorkshire gallery. The breakfast here was enjoyable and superb with stunning views and homemade bread, for example.

Everything was first-class, had a thoroughly enjoyable stay for a friend's wedding. The staff was lovely and amazing and the host too. The unit we got was spotless with lovely views, bathroom, for instance. The food was brilliant, had a huge variety of options. Nothing too much trouble, the venue met expectations.

Excellent stay with a really good breakfast with homemade marmalade and fresh ground coffee. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted unique decor that reflects its history. The lush riverside garden was a beautiful escape. The proximity to busy locations meant some occasional noise, and the bathroom could have used extra toiletries for comfort.

Can't recommend highly enough for a relaxing holiday
Comfortable bed, spacious room, with the serene sound of running water just outside my window and the fresh milk and a cafetière with fresh ground coffee in the room made my stay enjoyable.

Fine views of the River Bain, charming outdoor gardens, luxuriously themed rooms
The absence of blackout curtains was disappointing!!! Nearby dining options were limited, forcing us to drive for decent meals!!! The TV size could really use an upgrade to enhance the viewing experience!!! A lack of evening social activities left us feeling a bit underwhelmed!!!

We recently spent two nights in a lovely Deluxe Suite and absolutely loved the huge bath after our long hikes. The tranquil garden and cozy lounge with the open fire were perfect for relaxing. Honestly, I can't say anything negative without just making stuff up, so plan to indulge in the amazing breakfast – it's a must! 😊

Neil and Jane. The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a view of the river and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. If I had to nitpick, I wish there were darker curtains for a better sleep, but overall, I can't wait to return! 😊

I stayed for two nights in the Beautiful Suite and felt right at home. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a fine copper bathtub that added a unique charm. Fresh milk and a cafetière with ground coffee were perfect little touches. The breakfast each morning was excellent-freshly cooked and made from local ingredients. Neil and Jane were great without being overbearing. Unfortunately, the limited evening dining options nearby forced me to drive a bit further for dinner. The Wi-Fi connection in my room was spotty at times, inconvenient for planning my next activities. Nevertheless, the cozy ambiance and pretty views made up for these minor drawbacks.

The cozy ambiance of the themed animal room added a unique charm to our stay.
Unfortunately, the lack of nearby dining options required a 10-minute drive for meals.
